Chinese New Year 2008

New Year's Eve

It was on a Wednesday. To be exact, it was on 6th Feb 2008. Spent my morning and afternoon at my grandma house. Reunion dinner was at my cousin's house at hougang. Mahjong session right after. This is the beginning. The beginning of the screwing up of my biological clock. Slept at 4am that day. It was after a coffee break at tcc at T3.

New Year Day 1

This day marked the start of the erm, year of the Rat. To be more practical, the day I started collecting hong baos. Did visitings to grandma's house and aunt's house. Mahjong session and steamboat in between. This is also the day that I encountered those meet-once-a-year distanced relatives and cousins. It was rather.. erm, ya. My young cousins are cute (like me) ! Innocent looking faces.. oh well. Mahjong session at cousin's house till 1am that night. Jalan Kayu roti prata for supper. Slept at 3am that morning.

New Year Day 2

Visitings to even more distanced relative house. L(d) makan my S$19 that night. I had to walk home right after that mahjong session at his house. You know that feeling.. Losing money and had to walk home (from Bedok South). It was at 4am then. Had egg muffin, hashbrown and iced milo for err breakfast at 5am. I unaccidentally passed by a 24hr mcdonald's. Screwed up(further) my meals timings and biological clock. Dropped dead at 6am.

New Year Day 3

I woke up at 12nn. Watched the 8 immortals show on channel 8. The one that got the lu dong bin and he xian gu. Rather nice show. Mahjong session, again till 12.30am.
