Jay Chou to Release New Album This September

Taiwanese pop sensation Jay Chou says he plans to release a new album in September and that he's released a single online that shows British rock influences, in contrast to the R&B music he's known for, a news report said Wednesday. Chou made the comments in an interview with Chinese news Web site Sina.com. Commenting on the single, whose Chinese title translates as "A Secret That Can't Be Told,'' Chou said he retains his signature singing style of slurred pronunciation but adds guitar and rock elements."I've added the musical element of electric guitar. People don't see me play guitar that often. This song has a bit of British rock feel. Its style is rock,'' the singer said.Chou, one of Chinese pop's biggest acts, said after releasing his album in September, he plans to go on tour in November or December, with stops in Hong Kong and mainland China.
